Is this the last of it? I watched the first one and it just stopped... It was quite off-putting. I was far more understandable than the last Dune movie though.

wasn't part one a literal 'oh yeah and also I stopped halfway because I really want to make the rest as a second movie' and the execs were expecting a more normal remake thing, as in, the original adaptation was one movie. this is a remake of the adaptation, so this was to be one movie, but he dragged it out (I honestly didn't notice the larger runtime to cover what, the events that took up half the original movie')
