Back in 2019, I came across the first season of Carnival Row on Amazon, and really enjoyed the mix of Victorian politics, steampunk, and fantastical creatures all together in one place...starring Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevigne.

After being set back due to the Covid pandemic, the second/final season premiered today on Amazon, and it hasn't lost a step in tone, creative costuming, and CGI. The first two episodes are available now, as well as all of season one.

Any giant steam powered mechanical spiders? I would seriously hope not.

It's not the Will Smith 'Wild Wild West' debaucle

Finished off season 2: not as good as season 1, and it was obvious at what point during filming they learned of cancellation, as the plot became forced and strange and rushed...ending was clearly an after-thought to wrap up plot lines for closure.
