Based on a video game, the series is showing on HBO and HBOMax,,starring Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian, GOTs), Anna Torv (Fringe) and Bella Ramsey (GOTs). I did not know the story from the game going into the show, but the first episode (1hr 25mins) sets it up quickly. No spoilers, but I will say all the hype has been worth it, so far!

Without knowing anything about the game the title suggests some sort of post apocalyptic theme. Unless us refers to some sort of out of the ordinary group, I suppose.

Pandemic of the fungal variety..super creepy while being totally possible! (And that really isn't a spoiler )

Episode 2: still filled with tension and intrigue..in a good way!

Still enjoying this series...wondering if it will be a 'one and done', or if they will stretch it out to more seasons/spin-offs.

Finished the series and the 'making of' docomentary...all worth a watch, whether you know the video game reference material or not.
