8-) Nice! Let hope the show keeps it up. Episodic Star Trek is working out so far.

Keep in mind that is Rotten Tomatoes Critic rating and not audience rating.

They got Abrams 09 Trek at 94% for example. And Discovery and Picard at 86% but sitting less than half of that with the audience score.

I am enjoying it alot, but I still notice the usual people looking for their negatives because they hate nuTrek and don't want it to be good.

Found that article interesting, which is why I shared the link. Critics -vs- audience/fans rarely match up, and most folks are aware of that, even if only from reading a movie review before choosing a movie: whether they base their choice on what reviews say or their own interests..tends to divide the lemmings from the cliff.

Have to say that so far, this show has replaced Lower Decks and Prodigy as my favorite Nu Trek. Episode 3 is the "feels" episode. I'm actually looking forward to the upcoming episodes rather than watching them as chore.

Gotta love an episode that combines Amok Time with some Freaky Friday hijinx... :laughroll:

Last week was the horror themed episode, this week is the hijinks episode. Once again, another enjoyable episode. Character development on top of world building. Gotta love Nurse Chapel blushing.

I just caught up with these this weekend. Pretty good so far. The only thing I would say is that too many people are "special". We have decendant of Khan Noonien-Singh on the staff and No. 1 is from an alien race that isn't allowed to join the Federation. The chief of medicine is running a system that is invented Scotty years after this program is set.

I wonder if that devious Sybok will be the one who pushes Stonn and T'Pring together?
