I am a moderate btw. We are the ones that actually sway the elections to one or the other. Republicans will vote for a rat if presented. A Democrat will vote for a cockroach if a Democrat. Moderates will vote for an actual person.

No need to recast. The character was a sheriff at some small planet. Just shelf the character and create a new one. Male or female.
