He is right. The episode has alot of rewatch value and holds up to this day.
It is definitely a top Trek episode of all time too.
Though major plot point makes sense. How Klingons see how a Federation starship try to defend a Klingon colony against the Romulans. Doesn't matter if the Enterprise escapes or is destroyed. In the end, the Klingons should have went to war with the Romulans anyway.
Running fan theory is that Duras in the alternate time line was the one who pushed for war against the Federation.
