So on UK satellite channels, they're showing Trek on a loop. Last week we got VOY: Endgame and now it's tripped back to Caretaker. One of the, perhaps, only good offshoots of this is to compare the Doctor's character from end to beginning. He really did become a very well developed character, perhaps the best. Contrast that to Neelix who was just an annoying tw*t all the way through...

There was that episode where he died, I enjoyed that.... till they brought him back.

I can't believe the second he stopped twitching they didn't stuff his ass in torpedo tube and launch him into the great beyond.

Was that the one where Tuvok, seeking the most infuriating thing he could find, went for a chat with Neelix and ended up strangling him?

Or the one where the Vidians thieved his lungs. Laughed? I nearly cried

He was brought back from death by Seven's nanoprobes and he allowed himself the luxury of complaining because he didn't saw the big tree or something, even then he acted like an unthankful moron. They should have let him dead.

And I laughed when Kes dumped him for realising what a possessive, jealous and evil little man he truly was

Such a pity they heaved Kes overboard and kept him. Having her really deal with aging could have made for some interesting character development.

Naturally, it is Voyager of course.

Voyager treated characters like most of us would treat a fungus. Any growth is to be removed as quickly as possible before it spreads further.
