Personally, I think the entire 20th century would've been different (in a better way) if Trotsky had been in charge of Russia. He was Lenin's first choice; Stalin just politically muscled him out.

Anyways, Mikey's right: in this scenario, he would still have been in exile, or possibly dead shortly after Lenin.

Ok, spoke to an old professor of mine. Told him about this topic and the idea of Germany taking over atleast the bulk of the east coast.

This is a rough order of things.
1.) She laughed like hell since it was about ST and she didn't know that I was a SciFi guy.
2.) She wondered if there were any changes to history. (What if's)
a.) Russia isn't in the war.
b.) Britain fell.
3.) She berated me about how I should know better.
4.) Pointed out that the US if forced to fall back to the US border would be so tightly wound that the entire coast would end up a giant wall of troops, guns, planes and ships.
5.) She told me that short of nukes hitting the US she couldn't see any way of US either being forced out of the war or surrendering.

Now with that said. I have as of this point been, by this topic, confused and annoyed and now insulted by a professor I counted as a mentor. SO! I'm just writing this whole "Storm Front" thing as bullshit of ENT and will simply add this to a list of reason that I don't count ENT as canon but as a alt timeline.

Remember that Storm Front ended with the entire timeline being reset. I count that as the first three season either being wiped out or massively changed, and therefore non-canon.

Aye, it lets us ignore the bullshit.

I've a better explaination though. The entire series was just a 24th century holo-show about the first starship captain, based loosely on truth, but rife with historicaly inaccuracies, wild exagerations and poor attempts at drama.
Basicaly, ENT is the 24th century TV show we see now.

Deep: Your proffesor speaks the truth. The entire scenario is BS short of giving the Nazis a hell of a lot of extra gear.

Or the holoprogram of a certain first officer...

Or that. Though I prefer the idea that it's one of those pseudo-historical shows you see on TV all the time, but set in the 24th century. :)

I was gonna say... that particular aspect of Ent WAS an alt timeline!

A holo-novel written by Karin Traviss.

Couldn't have been - not enough mando-wank.

There must have been some kind of wank if the Germans are somehow ruling the world. Maybe they had a suncrusher and a three million man army. Seeing how no nation could raise a force to equal that. :bangwall:

Couldn't be - if it were, the Germans would have taken over America in one week with 2,000 troops and one panzer.

Only took one infantry company to take Paris... so you never know.
