Aside from the glasses, all my senses seem to be working fine, thankfully.

IDK, Graham - I'm 35, and my ears (at least) seem to be as sharp as they ever were - at least in regarding to picking up sound at distance. I do tend to think I have a slight problem picking out speech from background noise, plus I'm married - so I occasionally have selective deafness.

Yup, that's how it is going with me. Getting harder to pick out voices in a crowd.

In a way I know better than most how my hearing is. I do frequency tests in school - play a sound through a speaker and then gradually up the frequency, having kids put their hands down when they can't hear it any more. When I did that as a kid I topped out at about 19 kHz. Nowdays it's 16.5 kHz. :(

Hips hurt when you get up in the mourning?

Feel rain coming in your knee's?

Make noises when you stand up or sit down?

Meh. When I get out of bed in the morning, it sounds like I'm making popcorn.

Every time my knees pop, I worry that it might be the last of my ACLs going. I'm not looking forward to life in a wheelchair, that's for sure.

Give it a few years and you can buy bionic legs.

I wonder if I can get them to sound like an AT-ST?

I have hope for stem cell organ cloning, though. Ligaments shouldn't be much harder to clone than nerves, and they've already done nerves...

Steal some of Brad Pitts DNA and grow your self a set of his legs that you can then transplant on.

I'd rather have his abs, personally, but that'd be cheating.

I like my legs, actually; they're in really great shape from all the self-rehab. I just hate my "unable to tolerate an eight-foot fall without inverting" knees.

I'll take a pancreas while we're at it. And maybe a liver - mine is OK for now, but some nights I get to thinking a backup is in order...

My lungs are probably due for a replacement soon.

I'll also take several backup livers.
