Hm, I just noticed it would be the 7th X-304 i forgot Korolev. Who's going to be operating the ship? Is it going to be International like Atlantis, USAF like Odyssey, Deadalus, Apollo and Hammond, Russian like Korolev or Chines like the Sun Tzu. I ask because each nation seems to name theirs after important figures in their mythology/history/mythological history.

After Homer Simpson, if we figure O'Neill is an Lt. General now and has some say in naming, and he still can't get away with Enterprise, I think that'd be his second choice

Just an FYI on the rank structure. We're going to have about 1200 or so total base personel. Both the Dauntless and the SGC center will be commanded by full bird colonels.

Each Colonel will be assisted by a Lt. Col (XO) and a Sergeant Major.

The 1200 man Regiment on the base will be broken down into five companies of two hundred (Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, and Echo), each commanded by a Major assisted by a Captain (XO) and a First Sergeant.

Each company will field ONE SG team...each with slightly different mission protocols.

That means, only Staplic will get to be a Major. If anybody would like to create his "XO" as an offworld team member they will be a Captain. All enlisted and both Lieuteant ranks will be available.

I'm just assuming that the PCs will be SG-Alpha. This will allow multiple teams to work on multiple missions if we so decide.

What do you guys think so far?
