Re: Find the Founders VIII

We have 10 Rochey, so 5 shifts of 2, so like an hour 45 per shift.

Good, I'll feel safer knowing we'll have some warning. I hope 2 founders aren't in one shift, I'll take the first shift, anyone else want to volunteer?

Sure, I'll go too. I'm not that tired right now. All this talk of murderous Founders hasn't exactly been making me tired.

Well, here's some more good news. The power generators on two of the life boats we damaged. One during the launch, the other during the landing. Both are gonna fail within a week, and there's not a damned thing I can do about it.

I'm not tired either, so, does anyone know what we might be able to use as weapons against the founders if we see them?

We have the third one though.

Cool. I'll add that to my "things that're going to fuck us all over" list. I think it's going to fall somewhere between "food running out" and "being eaten by giant insects".

Giant insects? We could use them for food.

Ah, but what if they're poisonous?

We still have a lot of time tonight, lets just go now, it's not that scary, however, weapons would make me feel safer in this cave, so, what can we use?

There aren't any life forms on the planet Rochey, So no worries of giant insects eating us, I hope, we only have the founders to fear now, Which kinda sucks in itself.

I'd say a trio of Founders are more than enough to worry about.

Yeah, so are we going to the deeper part of the cave for food, I'm really getting hungry.

Those will work well, do we have any more of those, so everyone can carry one?

Here's an idea:
We go to sleep. Two people stand watch. When their shift is up, they wake up the next shift, and then go grab some of that moss and bring it back. Then they go to sleep. Each shift does this, resulting in a nice supply of moss for little effort by the time we wake up.

That's a great idea, but the sun hasn't even set, and I'm still hungry now.

Didn't the rations from the escape pods make it?

...They're about as bad as that moss sounds, though.
