I just never new that Majal and Nichelle enjoyed......."a piece of pie" :happydevil: as well
They say that in the Army,
the women are mighty fine.
They look like Phyllis Diller,
and walk like Frankenstein.

I was under the impression that Majel and Nichelle didn't like one another as a result of Gene's shenanigans back then. I find it hard to believe they were particularly open. Gene just liked to cheat, from what I've read.

I recall a book that told the story of Gene's secretary having to hustle a woman out of his office fast so his girlfriend didn't catch him with her - at the time he was married as well. Gene didn't just cheat, he cheated on the people he cheated with.

An all too fallible man.

The message was still good, even if the messenger was lacking.
So if Jesus had been a wild party animal who kicked people a lot, would as many people have followed his message?

I'm kidding; you do have a good point, though hypocricy always irks me.
Thanks. And I also agree with you. I don't like hypocrites either. Do as you say, for lack of a better term.

So, it's going to make XI a bit more poignant next May now huh? I wonder for the success of the movie, if fate conspired to spare Majel Barrett until she had completed her part in it?

A nice home-made tribute and great musical score :)

Had Majel completed the voice before she passed on? I know thats something they can do well after primary filming has wrapped.
Don't you hear my call, though you're many years away, don't you hear me calling you?

I heard she'd already done her part. Not sure if that's true, though.

Right, at least according to this article:

http://trekmovie.com/2008/12/18/majel-b ... sses-away/
Majel recently completed reprising her role as the voice of the USS Enterprise for J.J. Abrams' new Star Trek film.

Let's hope her last movie turns out good.

Good question. Presumably they'll get a new person. A pity.

It reminds me of the problem they had with Data getting visibly older, which (I've read) was one of the reasons why they decided to kill him off.
