Anyways, Joss Whedon is directing The Avengers, so I have supreme confidence in it's potential. I loved Firefly, and Buffy/Angel.

They're making a movie about a superhero called Thor?

Yeah; they got the guy who played George Kirk in Star Trek. It could be very cool.Sionnach Glic wrote:They're making a movie about a superhero called Thor?

Re: Iron Man 2
No, actually, they have a Norse god called Thor... It's kinda stupid, but it's also awesome!Sionnach Glic wrote:They're making a movie about a superhero called Thor?
He has a lightning hammer.
Thor
Re: Iron Man 2
Wasn't it his hammer that actually gave him the power... I don't remember much.

Re: Iron Man 2
Yeah, the Marvel character was pretty much the Norse god, in an anachronistic manner.

Re: Iron Man 2
He's one of those characters who's fairly big in the comics, but has never had much publicity outside the comic book fandom.

Re: Iron Man 2
In a nutshell - he's not a character based on Thor, or similar to Thor. It's Thor, complete with Loki as arch-nemesis, Mjollnir, and all.Sionnach Glic wrote:I can't say I've heard of him.

Most of the time, though the Hulk did just about cram the thing down his throat once.
