Currently but the battle's not over
Besides the Daystrom B would be kind of fun.

How many Minbari does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.

Re: Ship Options
We'll see what people think. Personally I'd like to keep the old one as well as the New Battleship. It provides more RP options.
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

I would keep the old Daystrom. I'm a bit of a naming freak, and Daystrom just doesnt seem right for a battleship. we need something...big and....strong.
Resolution class?

The Obliterator-class Polite Suggestion To Not Invade?
How about the Stalwart-class You Wouldn't Like Us When We're Angry?
Or, the Indomitable-class Don't Make Us Come Up There?

There is only one way of avoiding the war – that is the overthrow of this society. However, as we are too weak for this task, the war is inevitable. -L. Trotsky, 1939

It was meant as in "This is a starfleet ship and should be named as such, not a ship of the Galactic empire"

Re: Ship Options
Come on, Reliant. You know I'm kidding.
I agree with you that the class name has to illustrate the seriousness of the ship.
Is there already a Resolute-class? I think that fits the role and capabilities of the class, though I suppose we'll do a class-name poll after the ship's stats are finalized.

Re: Ship Options
In my stories, i am really finnicky about how i name my ships. The Constellation class seemed to have a British theme so you could say the Shakespeare, the Southampton, The Victory and such like.
I got a couple of names of the class for this.
Resolute/Resolution
Absolute/Absolution
Armada

How about the Midnight class? Since if we're using battleships we're a few minutes from midnight

If you read into it, you almost have the "one foot in the dark" aspect. the light is starfleet, the moral, the just, the unswerving upright state. and the dark is the entire purpose of this vessel. To injure, to fight, battle...and to win.
