Does Spam technically have an expiration date, or a half-life?

Sometime just before black holes begin to evaporate due to Hawking radiation, I think.

So instead of even a half-life, Spam has a Chandrashekar limit?

The last normal matter in the universe will be Spam and McDonald's french fries...

None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.

I must have mentioned this somewhere, but Spam became very popular in Hawai'i during WWII. Remember that supplies are naturally scarcer and more expensive in an island state, plus the fact that almost everything available went to the war effort - esp. with Pearl Harbor - so cheap alternatives became important staples. What I can't explain is why Spam STAYED popular there to this day, but it is - many Hawai'ian "plate lunches" include Spam.

Who knows, my Grandfather was a WWII Vet and to the day he died he would eat Bully Beef (think Spam but more unappealing). It used to be in the rations and I suppose he developed a taste for it.

Spam and various other craptastic canned meats are in the grocery stores here but I never actually see people buy it.

I suppose you eventualy develope a taste for it if you've been eating it for years.
