Actually, it was from "Diamond" to "Dimebag" sometime in the early 90's.Mikey wrote:Didn't heTsukiyumi wrote:Actually, I was talking about Bill Hicks and Dimebag Darrell.put on a skirtchange it to "Diamond Darrell?"
I don't really think it would be all that hard. If we have a couple of people put up their order of top twenty. First being a 20pt ep, second being a 19pt ep and so on down the line. We would come out with a fair average.RK_Striker_JK_5 wrote:Hmm, 20 would be a tall order. I'm not sure i could get it into any semblance of order because after BOTB and Measure of a Man, they kinda slide around on the list depending on my mood.
The last one is, admittedly, a bit of a Deus Ex, but given that the Tamarians specifically summoned the E-D to El-Adrel with "beam down and fight the monster" as Plan-B, it's to be expected that they'd have selected the system for precisely those characteristics.Mikey wrote:The themes in Darmok were great, but the execution was a study in the worst, laziest sort of deus ex machina. There HAPPENED to be an invisible monster, there HAPPENED to be a quantum excuse why they had to fight the beast with a pair of Arkansas toothpicks, the Tamarians HAPPENED to have the tech to nullify Fed transporters. Winfield was great, though.
