Yes, but that's not nearly what we're talking about. The game points out cities and (supposedly) nations north of Russia and east of Finland. That's what I meant when I said "north of Russia and east of Finland."

Ah, I've found a reference. The game refers to Svalbard as it refers to other nations, even though Svalbard is a possession of Norway. IIRC, it also referred to Novaya Zemlya the same way, even though it is part of Russia. Svalbard is actually north-northeast of Finland, but there's probably just a trick of the projection used in the game.
