That's a big negative.
I'm with Tyyr on this one. I'm old fashioned. I pick up the tab UNLESS

A. It's a gift for me (ie birthday)
B. She's got free passes (or something like that)
C. The argument about who pays hits five minutes. I'll always surrender at that point if she's THAT determined.

Fully agreed. I give up at 5 mins.

That's almost as bad as the "I don't know, what do YOU want to eat?" argument.

I don't have that arguement. If they say, "I don't know, what do you want to eat," I pick, immediately and just go. They've already stated they have no ideas so I'm in charge.

Saw the movie a week ago and I have to say, good stuff. It won't be like the first movie so comparisons to it aren't fair. IM1 was the intro, the character building, lots of discovery. IM2 is moving the characters along. Things are established already so lets see where they go and I think it does that very well. It's Empire to IM1's New Hope. It will probably be appreciated much more once it's part of a trilogy.

Let's just hope it doesn't get Spiderman Syndrome and give us a godawful third movie.

Spiderman 1 was good enough, the next two just sucked...

On a side note. Took my mother to see IM2 for mother's day. We both loved it!

Spiderman 2 wasn't great, but it wasn't too bad.

I think the reference was more to the downward spiral, starting at the first movie and ending in the roiling vortex of suck that was 3.

Ah, in that case I agree completely.

So far I think they're avoiding it. SM3's big problem was an emo Peter Parker and their inability to decide who the bad guy was going to be.

Doesn't help when the studio wants to many different things.

IM2 (and hopefully 3) looks to be a promising departure from Marvel movie standards.

Here's hoping they can keep it that way up through the Avengers movie.

Anyone else stick around for the final Clip?
The Thor movie should be pretty awesome
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.
