Re: On SDN
Yeah, I over-reacted a bit. Sorry, guys.

Hey, no problem.
And we're off again, this time to Websites. Which is where this should have been in the first place.

Yeah, sorry about that. I shoved it into Forum Community initialy, as I was unsure where to put it. Then Seafort pointed out that, since it was discussing another site, it should probably go in Websites.

Re: On SDN
SDN is on over kill for their VS topics. No one can beat Star Wars anything. Which is stupid seeing how many other Universes are out there that are larger then SW. Then again we are all guilty of bias in one form or another.
It comes down to this, SDN is a Star Wars lover. DITL is a Star Trek lover. Now, as people come around other topics come up but in the end each site has its first love.
My first love was BattleTech, followed by Warhammer 40k. Both are big and great but would be silly to start crying over which is better.

Re: On SDN
If I had to pick a favorite sci-fi universe, it'd be the one I created; I don't have a favorite between ST and SW - I like both for different reasons. My beef was the outright insults leveled at Graham and the quality of DITL.

Re: On SDN
Are we any different...? We spend a great deal of time attacking other sites ourselves. So, we're not without are blame. The differences between sites are much like the differences between people. With some you'll have being close together and others being worlds apart.

Have you been meditating more lately, or something? You seem a lot more agreeable than usual.

Re: On SDN
If by meditating you mean playing punching bag with the trees out back then yes. But in truth its all about truth. If someone fudges something then I'll call them on it. Be it a mistake in writing or a mistake in allowing them to be born. I've also focused a large amount of my insults in other places. One so that the Admins and Mods could get a hold on things. Two because the pickings here have been pretty lame lately. Three because we've been so busy I just haven't had the time. A friend of mine picked me up as a basher for a private forum of his so I get to have fun at the expense of others there. Plus, some of the people there will even put up a fight. Which makes it all the more fun.

Not true, they have a seven page long list of many powers that could bitchslap Star Wars easily.SDN is on over kill for their VS topics. No one can beat Star Wars anything. Which is stupid seeing how many other Universes are out there that are larger then SW.

I think your phrase "Bitchslap easily" maybe more credit then I'd give them... but I get your point none the less.

I was about to say.. I think Rochey and I are the only two cross over members. Though I can't register over there I do read a lot of their forums and lurk in the shadows.Rochey wrote:Not true, they have a seven page long list of many powers that could bitchslap Star Wars easily.SDN is on over kill for their VS topics. I really like SDN. Their admin is an asshole but the site is fun. I don't see why it matters who wins the vs debate its still fun to have and its pretty obvious who the true winner is. A much more interesting debate though is the Imperium vs the Empire. that thread was a good 120 pages or so and I read the whole thing lol
