Looks like this is a pretty straightforward modification of the standard Connie. Basically they've stretched the neck back a bit, lowered the nacelles, and added a third one above. It's nice, but ideally I'd like to see a bulkier hull to accommodate the extra weapons, shields, power generation, etc. Scale the dimensions up about 10 or 20%, say.

Pretty much but thats what the original Federation was really. They appear to have bulked up the neck a bit which is nice since it is a fairly obvious weak point in the design.
