You're right with the supposedly part, but the height isn't abnormally high. Slightly above average maybe, but I think someone needs to stop spending so much time here and go out and get a date

Really? Are you sure that's the average for the world, or just a specific country or area?

Its the average for my country at least and since I'm from a average western nation I would guess its the average over all. Especially since asian and middle eastern countries tend to be shorter than we are. If anything the world mean would be even lower.

It's good to know that the average here is just about my type; my cutoff is generally 5' 6", though I make exceptions. I like to be able to put my chin on top of a girl's head when I hug them.

I like to totally dominate them in the bed room. If they are taller than me by a noticable amount it makes it difficult to do so.

That said, humans have continued to grow larger with each passing generation. Its not completely far fetched to think that six feet + would be more common in the future.
