Irrelevant. The fact remains that it had the power to destroy a star. That power is completely out of place in the SW universe, despite its already impressive power levels.

Uh, no it isn't. For one, a ship made of neutronium would implode under its own mass. Secondly, ISD hulls are already neutronium impregnated, and they have nowhere near the durability of the Suncrusher.

And okay, I didn't know that SDs had... wait, neutronium in their hulls? Okay... Still, don't care. It's cool and I like it. I like the JAT. I like the Bantam books. This is me in stuck-record mode. They made me feel good and bouyed my spirits after finishing.

I didn't read the SW Bantam novels and go, "That's out of place. That makes no technical sense." I wanted to have a good time with them and get a sense of 'everything's gonna work out' and stuff like that. I look at 'The Bacta War' and don't think too much about freighters beating the Lsankya. What I see is an evil person-Ysanne Isard-getting her just desserts and the good guys winning.

That was what I liked about the Bantam novels. Seeing the light eclipse the dark and the New, better Republic emerging from the ashes of the Galactic Civil War.

Probably another reason why I like ENT, too. I'm not a technical-minded guy. I like action, adventure. I wanna lose myself in what I'm reading/watching.

Same here. I don't usualy bother with the tech stuff until after I've read the book and it comes up in a debate somewhere. The problem is that there's stuff in the books that's either plain stupid or glaringly false.

Okay, fair enough. I can admit there's continuity issues with the Bantam books. And some stuff are head-scratchers. Some stuff you see as stupid, though, I simply don't. Like the SUncrusher. It's not a simple star-killer that shoots it dead. it's the pebble that starts the avalanche.

You'd have better luck starting an avalanche in a sheet of metal than sending a main-sequence star supernova. They simply aren't massive enough.

Don't get me wrong, all of my work has humorous moments, light-hearted character interactions, and triumphant victories, but it's never certain that everyone (or anyone) will survive, or succeed.

I think I came off too harsh, and I apologize. You're probably a great writer and I'd find it to be great... but I need light-hearted stuff for the most part.
