Well, part of my holiday shopping's done, with a package mailed to boot. Got my stepmother season one of Babylon Five, my father season two.

Are they still stocking all the seasons over there? My local HMV's run out of S4 and claim's they've stopped producing them. :(

I have every B5 and offshoot on DVD. Either from Amazon, Play.com, or try CEX.

I also got invited to the Team dinner. The only mistake I made was not asking for leave for the day after the dinner when I saw there was going to be an open bar.

Nice.

Well, starting college on the 14th of January for IT Networking and Telecommunications (specifically, Network Administrator); all paid up, mostly passed the entrance exam, so wish me luck.

Good luck on that, tsuki. :D

The Christmas shopping for my mother, aunt and grandmother is done. All I have left is my father, stepmother and a Yankee swap gift.

On the hunt for my first car. Found a way of insuring a car nice and cheaply without being illegal; and it doesn't have to be tiny since the policy can insure up to a 1.9 with only a £30 per month added on. I'd love a nice Focus or Mondeo; maybe a Vectra. I don't like small cars.

The Focus gives reasonable performance in a 1.6 whereas the Mondeo will need a bigger engine and cost a lot more to run. If that's important, and I suspect it will be, then you may well have an answer. I wouldn't go near a Vectra, Vauxhall's have been bad up until pretty recently. Unless you're buying new, which seems unlikely given it's a first car.
