It makes sense.

He's got Ta'Varrn whom he trusts, as most Vulcans are avoiding the war, she jumps in.

He's got Harvey who can build a gas powered warp engine

He's got Nelson, the toughest son of a bitch in the service and who he knows he can trust

And so forth........it makes sense for a new Captain to want people he can count on, and advise him.

I'm working on intro posts for both Nelson and Sinclair.

Sonic, PM me so we can discuss this mission and lay it out for the PCs.

BTW, if nobody objects, let's stick as close to canon as possible.

The Aegis's main weapons are lasers, but they are super new. Lets equip only say the PCs with new Hand Laser side arms.

Standard crew will all have phase pistols, and MACOs have MACO gear.

Also, the big difference between the Phase Pistol and Laser is that;

the Phase Pistol only has two settings, stun and kill.
the Laser is gonna have adjustable power levels as well as stun and kill. (so on stun you can go light stun, stun, heavy stun......and kill you can crank up the "heat" to different lethal settings.

thoughts?

I like it. Can my guy have two? One to reverse engineer and one to use?

Because, he likes taking stuff apart and using part for other things, not because he has to, but because he can. It's his hobby.

I'm sure, depending on how much trouble you want to get him into, he can find some way to .. "acquire" one. :spider:

He can always take his apart, then be forced to use a phase pistol, or borrow someone elses, lol.

For comedy, he can have a toy laser in his holster.

Is that what they call it these days? o.O

Remember kids, always holster your firearm.
