The very concept of assassin Cat is god-awful. Cat is not some sort of killing machine. This is Cat in a nutshell.

And her dialogue sounds terrible.

OK, indisputable proof that the British are f***ed up in strange, hidden ways:

Watching Gordon Ramsay's "The F Word" yesterday, I saw one segment in which he was going hunting to make a traditional, but out-of-fashion, British staple - rook pie. No, that's not a symbolic name. He was talking about - and finally got around to - making meat pies out of rooks. For those of us who speak normally, that's "crows."

I could almost understand haggis, but literally eating crow?

For second I was wondering why people would eat chess pieces. Now I'm wondering why would they eat crow.

Why do you eat chicken?

Because Kentucky fries it.

Actually I can't stand KFC. Too fatty.

And I'm more of a turkey guy. And the reason I eat turkey is because 1) it tastes good and 2) it actually have a viable amount of meat on it. Crows may have 1, but not 2... otherwise that is one overweight bird.

I'm sure chickens and turkeys didn't have much meat on them before we domesticated them, either.

Crows taste nice. Thus they are eaten.

Well, non-domesticated turkeys are just as big. And the wild chickens of Hawaii (which are not domesticated, nor have been domesticated for... a while) are just as big, if not bigger, than domesticated ones.

Fair point. Though the matter of taste still remains. If it's tasty, someone will eat it. It's the law of the universe.

If crows were so damned tasty, why have we domesticated the cow, the hog, the sheep, the turkey, the chicken... but not the crow?
