In the episode "Prey", the Hirogen actually grapples with an 8472 (who have been seen tearing through Borg hull like aluminum foil).
Hell, just watch
this.
At 8:03, look at the size disparity between the Hirogen and Tuvok or Seven. In
this clip, at around 1:14, Tuvok slices the Hirogen's throat. It slows the Hirogen down for about a second before he easily disarms Tuvok, and tosses him across the room. Tuvok, a Vulcan, was about as effective against them as a wet towel.
Hirogen easily kicks the Klingon's ass. End of story.

That battle scene really makes me cringe - you've just got the actors spewing reams of technobabble and trying to look like they give a shit about it, with some overused rumble effects thrown in every few seconds. I can forgive the paucity of exterior shots because they were working on a TV budget, but still, it just seemed pathetic.
