While it does have a clear advantage there I was suprised that its behind in the other fields, speed was a given but beam weapons are rather weak, especially compared to the DB.

Wow, that is surprising. I would have figured it would have more beam power. Well, we shall see.

I would imagine the Paladin has better firepower in a single shot due to the lance, but the overall firepower of the Dominion battleship is superior.
