I'll make time for the live-action series but only because it's supposed to focus on the average guy in the universe. I can only see so many Jedi before I get bored.

Me too - I always thought I'd be interested to see one of these epic conflicts from the POV of a PFC on the gorund somehwere.

Myself as well. The civilisation occupies an entire galaxy, they've got millions of worlds to choose from. Lets see what happens to Wickwack the algae farmer on some ocean backwater or something.

"Rebellion? Empire? Stuff 'em both - I'm trying to make a living here!"

That was Owen's attitude. I found watching the beginning of ANH vey interesting, seeing an average guy in the future.

Very true. It's a position overlooked far too often, and it presents the scope of the SW universe in a very real way - there's just too many people and worlds for the magic sci-fi solution to people's everyday struggles.

Star Wars: Insurance Claims Adjuster, coming this fall.

Seriously, though, I also like the idea of seeing more of the average joe in the SW galaxy, so long as the characters are interesting.

If they can make a moisture farmer on a backwoods crapfest interesting, they shouldn't have much trouble with a line cook or something. SW (on the screen) doesn't have as many of the writing flaws that Trek does, if they have detailed instructions from Lucas on what and how to do it, they shouldn't have many problems.

Yah I'm sick of hearing about Tatoonie, Dantoonie, Yavin IV, Endor, Kashyyk especially. Those worlds shouldn't mean crap and they've all been extremely important more than once in galactic affairs. I understand Coruscant and what not but there's other city-covered planets out there and plenty of other forest planets and places with temples to choose from. Make up some new planets!

Even Nar Shadda would be fine, it's a city moon.
