I've just got a HTC Desire Z, the GSM equivalent to the T-Mobile...G2? I think? I love the thing and all, but it uses predictive for the physical keyboard as well. Its helpful for grammar, as I prefer to put full grammar in my messages and text, but it's a pain in the ass when I end up writing something wildly inappropriate to my mother.

Whereas, when I write something...

never mind. Sorry, Reliant, it's from my upbringing.

it's incredibly hard to offend or upset me, don't worry. I've been raised in a house with a matlo, I'm used to it.

A malto?

Anyway, today is shaping up to be one of the worst days of my life so far. I've only been awake for an hour, and found that I'd been turned down for a raise again, that my mom is in the hospital again with a sprained wrist, broken jaw, and internal head trauma (she fell and hit her head on the coffee table)....and to try and get her to sign herself into long term nursing care, she hasn't been given meds since yesterday, and only one meal in two days.

On top of that, my ex wives parents are taking me to court to try and forceably adopt my children, and are using strongarm tactics to try and get me to sign, and if thats not enough, I opened a letter from the IRS stating that in addition to the $1200 I owe there is another $2000 they're targeting me for, stating that my ex wife filed addendums to taxes that she shouldn't and got money......now they are coming after me for money I knew nothing about.

Yeah, not my finest day.

(Matlo, term for an enlisted man in the RN. Commonly associated with drunkenness, swearing and very inappropriate phrases.)

And...shit. I don't really know what would be an appropriate response for that.

Just spent 5 days in Berlin eating nothing but fastfood... good times.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Wow, Mark... sorry to hear about everything. Do you have any family closer to your mom to help with her situation?

As to the other stuff... well, it sure makes one understand a preference for homicide over divorce.

I have four sisters who live there. Three of them want her in the home. The fouth isn't allowed within a 1000 yards of the place, as the last time they put her in long term treatment, she busted mom out.

The other three want to press charges for kidnapping the elderly.

God, I can't stand my family.

I think he's talking about getting a joint account.

Yes, sorry for the vernacular. "Co" as in "co-signed."
