I was just going to say that. :D

Now that I saw the open spot, I was thinking about being the chef. It would let me do more character-oriented posts.

Ok, I've made slight changes to my Andorian. This is pretty much my official version.

Name: Shravak
Race: Andorian
Gender: Male
Rank: Lieutenant
Department: Engineering
Age: 28
Other Information: Served as an engineer on an Andorian starship for two years before being assigned to the Buran. Skilled with engines and general maintenance, though not good with computer systems. Tends to be aggressive, though still attempts to be respectful. Dislikes Tellarites (duh).

I changed him to an engineer because I felt writing for two different departments would be too difficult. Also changed his rank, unless Reliant prefers him being a crewman.

Even if it was, Russia was a part of the USSR. During the Cold War they were interchanged a fair bit.
Well if USSR is in this RP then my character lives in the Holy Roman Empire. Since Trek never said that was disbanded.
How many Minbari does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.

I think during ENT there was the United Earth Government and each country is treated like a state is in America.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

 Yeah, the above tries to reconcile canon and seeing as we know Trek history is our history until the early 1960's your option is ridiculous.

What makes you think I would make any comment if uninformed? I don't judge.

McKoy was a Lt. Commander in TOS, Crusher was a Cmdr and Bashiar an Lt.

On a ship this small I'd go with Lt. In a RL military they get the rank of Captain (or Navy quivilant) when they get their commision and a ship this small is unlikely to have one of higher rank. And lets be honest, Trek has a horrible rank inflation problem: four Captains on the Big E? And an uncountable number of Cmdrs on the E-D.

That's why I figured Lt. would be good enough for chief engineer; only now one of my wrench-monkeys is also a lt.

I'll go for lieutenant, in that case. I'll whip up a bio later today.

Sorry for the double post, but I've just noticed we have a grand total of zero Lieutenant Commanders on board. What's up with that?
