As for ramming, it's not really something the strength index includes.
There were the Borg "tractor beams," but those just drain the shields rather than crush or pulverize the ship.

I wasn't suggesting that the tractor beam should be counted as a weapon, Graham. I was responding to your point that an unarmed E-D shouldn't be able to destroy a Saturn-V rocket by suggesting improvised 'weapons' that it could use.

I'm quite sure that two tractor beams used together could be a quite deadly weapon.

Against something unshielded maybe but I doubt it would do much to a starship.

Yeah, no chance of damaging a shielded vessel. Unless it picks up something big and throws it at the ship.

It would probably put the shields under strain and drain them over time but the tractor beam would have to be stronger than the norm.

What I meant was, after the shields were down, through weapons fire or other means, using the two tractors to pull on a weak point, such as pulling on the saucer and engineering sections of the E-D. That would put a lot of strain on the neck connection and could probably tear them appart with a little phaser assistance.

Well, I had a free night yesterday, a free minute a few days ago, and a free day today. However, I won't have any time till next Tuesday at the earliest, so I really need to make today count.
