True, but I think the question was the generation of the beam, not the absorption of it.

Yeah its not the fact that she would be shooting her self with a phasers, Its the fact she made a phaser beam.

I'm not suggesting that she created a phaser beam at all - I'm suggesting that the phaser was genuine, not part of her body.

I can't remember for sure, but did we ever "actually see" her fire that phaser, or just say that she did?
