Quite true. Unfortunately I think too much damage had been done by that point for even Coto to fix. I'd have liked to see what he would have done with more time; then again, if he had held the reins from the beginning, the show might have lasted longer.

If Coto had the reigns from the beginning it may well have been a good show.

At least TNG episodes didn't make me want to bang my head against the wall due to rampant stupidity.

They didn't make me want to do that either. But that may be becuase I was asleep during most of it

Can't handle slower-paced quailty entertainment, eh? You'd hate three of my favorite movies, then: The Red Violin, 2001: A Space Odyssey, and The Ninth Gate.

I've caught The Ninth Gate on TV a few times, and it was a film an english professor decided to show the class in one of my courses. Very interesting movie. "Deep," subtle horror.
