Racial Stats for ST 40k

Ok all, here I will begin placing any and all stats drawn up including any edits we need to make along the way.

I have left out for the most part points, range and armour value so that those could be worked on. I'm trying to base the stats as close to ST cannon as I can but if you have any thoughts about changes or add ons please let me know. First I will do just the races themselves then once we get enough of the races down I would like for people to come up with ideas as to different units for each race. Medics, heavy weapons, tech, scouts, elites and maybe a cook. Whatever you guys come up with I'll make stats for.

Dominion

Jem'Hadar stats
WS 4, BS 4, Str 4, T 3, A 1, W 1, In 4, Ld 10

Weapons
Polaron Rifle Str 3 ap 6 assault 1, heavy 3 (BS -1), Bayonet +1 attack.
Polaron Pistol Str 3 ap 6 (Pistol)
Halbred (Two handed weapon. +1 to wound)

Bonuses
Causes panic (-2 to LD)
Fearless (auto passes LD checks for combat) This doesn't include special orders.
Cannot Retreat (fight to the death)
K-W madness (Role d20 before game to determine how much white the army has. When white runs out, all surviving units will race towards the nearest enemy unit. -2 BS, +1 WS, +1 T.)

Klingon Empire

Klingons Stats
WS 4 BS 3 Str 3 T 4 A 1 W 1 In 3 Ld 10

Weapons -
Disrupter pistol str 4 ap 5 (Pistol) counts as close combat weapon
Disrupter rifle str 4 ap 5 assault 2

Mak'leth (One handed heavy +1 str)

Bat'leth (Two handed & heavy +2 str)

Bonus
Can carry hand grenades
Can have Da'Har Master (one per squad) +2 WS -1 BS +2 A +2 In (Can only use Bat'leth/pistol or Mak'leth/pistol)
Causes panic -2 to Ld.
Cannot retreat (fight to the death)


Romulan Star Empire

Romulan Stats
WS 2 BS 3 Str 3 T 3 A 1 W 1 In 2 Ld 7

Weapons
Disrupter pistol str 4 ap 5 (Pistol)
Disrupter rifle str 5 ap 5 (assault 1 heavy 2)
Combat blade (counts as close combat weapon)

Bonus
Can have grenades
Can dual weild pistols (This means they get to shot twice)
Hatred (plus one to hit against klingons WS 3, BS 4)
Officer, WS 3, BS 4, Str 3, T 3, A 2, In 4, Ld 10


Reman stats
WS 3 BS 3 Str 3 T 3 In 3 A 1 Ld 8

Weapons
Disrupter Pistol str 4 ap 5 (Pistol)
Disrupter Rifle str 5 ap 5 assault 1 heavy 2
Reman Shock Rifle str 3 ap 6 assault 3 (Short range & Bayonet +1 attack)

Reman Shock Rifle, I figured on this because I was thinking that if the Remans were to be used as fodder and shock troops then they should be equipped to match. A low power, rapid fire weapon useful against most races yet not so great that it would let them overtake their masters.

Bonus
Can have grenades
Fanatics (all units use Army leader's Ld as long as leader is alive)
Hatred (plus 1 to hit against Romulans)

I think of the Remans much like the Kroot of the Tau Empire. Cannon fodder sure enough, cheap in cost and more then enough to go around. Just like the Kroot I have made them pretty dangerous when they get up close. The short range shock rifle would have a range of 12 or maybe 18. Many many shots followed by the Remans charging the enemy lines. As much as 6 attacks per model in fact. The weak weapon would force them to get close before they were of much use though, this is to avoid being BROKEN.

WS 3, BS 4, Str 4, T 3, A 1, In 4, Ld 8

Weapons
Hand Phaser (Pistol) - Str 5 ap 5
Phaser Rifle Standard - Str 6 ap 4 (assault 1, heavy 2)
Pulse Phaser Rifle - Str 5 ap 5 (assault 2)
Combat Blade (close combat weapon)

Bonus
Hand grenades
Medkits
Tricorder

You'll want to read the "I wonder" thread where there already is a lot of stuff and discussion.

For ranges I'd suggest sticking to typical 40K references. Obviously "to scale" that makes the ranges fairly short. But it works, and one could argue that it's more of a representation of effective ranges for accurate fire as opposed to the range at which the shot disapates.

Not to mention that everyone seems to like closing to "whites of their eyes" distances in 'Trek anyways.

I just updated the racial stats and changed a few stats to better match what sunnyside had thought up before my return. I have also added Humans and Vulcans to the mix.
