Federation ships in S02E01 Spoilers
Federation ships in S02E01 Spoilers
So i am being told that the Federation fleet that we saw in the first episode of season 2 has Star Trek Online ships in it.
Also that there are several Sovereign class ships in it among them. They were even given names apparently. Also a new version of the Excelsior class. Or a refit. It better be just a new build class that is heavily modeled on the old style.
They aren't reimaginings of the old classes from old Trek either.
So by 2401 the Sovereign class is a 30 year old design (26 year old design in the real world), I wonder if the Sovereign class end up really replacing the old Excelsior class like many fans thought. I mean in that fleet alone, it was one of the most numerous if the most.

Anyone remember the old days of taping an episode and going back and forth on rewind and pause to get a clear picture of the new ship in the episode?
Or that even bringing in a whole new ship and class was a big deal?

Also, don't forget the Akira & Sovereign classes, two classics.

Speaking of those ships, do you know when you might update the new ships' images and add the Inquiry Class?

Inquiry Class
I don't think we have a good view of any of the other classes? On screen in an episode?

Speaking of which so they are on the site now. (I did make this post April of last year). Are you going to use the data from Star Trek Online to fill out the other data? Phasers, torpedo tubes etc.
Maybe not the strength data part of it.

I could do but I don't have Star Trek online so were would that information be available. It would obviously be maked as backstage.

I don't either. Maybe someone here has it.IanKennedy wrote: ↑Fri Mar 03, 2023 12:46 pm I could do but I don't have Star Trek online so were would that information be available. It would obviously be maked as backstage.
It wouldn't surprise me if these Online ships never make an appearance again honestly.
