Why is it that studios actually cancel decent series after only one season?? Take Tru Calling as another example.

Odyssey 5, for those of you not aware, is set around the crew of the Space Shuttle Odyssey, cast back in time by a powerful alien after watching the Earth be destroyed. Five years in the past, can they set the future right in an attempt to stop it happening again?

Now if that doesn't get you rushing out to buy it, I don't know what will!!!

I saw a few episodes. Why was it cancelled? It was pretty good.

I only saw it because Sci-fi channel had it in the time slot before new episodes of Flash Gordon for a while.

I tried to give the show a chance, but I found it waaaaayyyyy too slow.
