Good on you for keeping the instructions. I've got all the instructions for my Lego kits and transformers filed away for perusal.

Guess my fear of someone (not me) knocking into something and it shattering into a million pieces on impact...with instructions, we can rebuild!

Made super spicy thai fried rice to go with grilled shrimp today...hoping the feeling will come back to my lips soon! (And no, ice cream did not help, but it tasted great!)

My dad cooked hamburgers made out of elk meat. They were actually quite good!

I have older brothers who hunt all kinds of game, so I've had lots of beastie meals over the years: elk, deer, antelope (prong horn), javelina, ducks, geese, turkey, dove, quail, alligator, rattlesnake..most before I turned 10. I tried ostrich not long ago, not a fan.

I enjoyed all but the goose(greasy af) and the javelina (gamey no matter the preparation), ostrich was tough (might have been too high a heat).

Had squirrel and rabbit as well, again depends on cooking method...can be great or shoe-leather...lol

thanks for the info. Much appreciated. :)

I'll honestly try almost anything once. I can't guarantee I'll like it, but I'll try it. ;)

My partner and I just got a puppy on Saturday. We will be training who to be a psychiatric assistance dog, as we both are autistic and have other mental health disabilities. She is adorable. We have been working with a trainer to prepare for a year now, and will continue to work with him as we train her.

So, visiting my dad and stepmother this weekend. I get home this morning from work and he's being loaded into an ambulance. My stepmother says he had bad stomach pains. We get a call from the doctor and it seems to be a bowel obstruction, which is better than what we feared but still nerve-wracking.

Sorry Striker, but glad it's not the worst.
