Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, has died

Post by Captain Seafort »

The UK, the world, and above all Her Majesty the Queen, have lost someone irreplaceable. A great character and a great man.

Two months short of his ton as well. :(

He's earned his rest, but it's still a shame. He seemed almost as immortal as Her Majesty.

Not me. Pictures of him of late really looked like he was not healthy. That could have been nothing as everyone ages differently. But compare him to the Queen and it is a stark contrast. Granted the Queen wears makeup but you can tell she is very healthy.

Got to admit, Charles and his family have good genes if nothing else.

One of the “realist” members of the royals.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.
