Okay. Still hopeful, still not especially anticipating goodness.
Positive : that looked like an actual Romulan warbird. That's a very good thing, it implies that the ship designs in the show are going to be sensible.
The ships attacking it looked rather generic-scifi-meh, though.
Seems like Data is back only in dream form, perhaps?
Stewart really looks old now. And he really sounds old, too. He was always one of those guys who never seemed to age, but that's catching up to him right quick. I honestly can't imagine him spending more than a season on this show. Assuming it lasts more than a season.

Interestingly....I rather liked the feel of it. Compared to Enterprise and Discovery....it feels like this actually plays in the prime timeline/universe.
Idk....looked more like the TOS warbird. So either timetravel or maybe a refit ship which would make it really really old...Graham Kennedy wrote: Positive : that looked like an actual Romulan warbird. That's a very good thing, it implies that the ship designs in the show are going to be sensible.

TOS Warbird is what I was talking about. Obviously it doesn't look like a D'Deridex!
It might be old. If the idea is Picard running around with some crew of rogues against Federation and Romulan interests, they may have dredged up an old ship from a scrapyard or something.
So... is anybody else thinking this girl might be Picard's daughter?

0:21, looks like a middling quality fan-made uniform...
Also, why do that have to **brrruuuuummm with TENSE MUSIK in the background* have these trailers imply that the whole thing is *cut to action sequence and back* going to be packed full of fighting and clearly an 90%-action Action Series?

It was made for airing during an NFL (American Football) game. So naturally the way to appeal to the majority of that audience is action, action, cutaway, action, explosion!AlexMcpherson79 wrote:0:21, looks like a middling quality fan-made uniform...

Maybe granddaughter?
Really hoping this is decent, and not a mishmash of LOTR in space plus cameos from TNG, all in a rush so Sir Patrick can make the early bird special.

Certainly looks like Kate Mulgrew's jawline from the side. Hair/wig is a good possibility as well.Nutso wrote:Your First Look at Star Trek: Picard (20 pics)
