Oh man, that sucks. So sorry to hear it. :(

Last night, over and over again, the nurse said, "she's dying", and made references to it; it was easy to believe, at the time. Today, My uncle asked if she could be switched from the forced breathing mask to a nasal tube; they moved her to a different room as well.

Now, she's talking, responding, and the specialist says her kidney function appears to be returning. Whatever longshot they took, it seems to be working. I'm not about to get my hopes up, but at the very least, I get to talk to her again.

Thank you very much for all of your thoughts, guys. I truly appreciate it.

That's what friends are for, Tsu. Glad to hear there's a reprieve at least, hoping for the better.

It was a short-lived comeback. Now she has a "hearty" bacterial infection that they can't treat with the serious drugs, because all of those would harm the kidneys even further. It's not over till it's over, but nobody is optimistic at this point.

She passed away today at 1:22 PM with my uncles and myself there. She just kind of... stopped.

I am really going to miss her.
