SF Debris: The Outcast
SF Debris: The Outcast

The episode with the androgynous race. When I first saw this episode I thought it was about the alien race forcing the guest star alien to be gay, and Riker was saving her. I was 11 at this time, and I really had no idea what the hell this episode was about.

Wow, he goes off a bit of the deep end here... not that the episode doesn't deserve it a bit.

Hardly - he wasn't frothing at the mouth nearly as much as he was over Unexpected.RK_Striker_JK_5 wrote:Wow, he goes off a bit of the deep end here... not that the episode doesn't deserve it a bit.
Only two things are infinite - the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the universe: Albert Einstein.

Re: SF Debris: The Outcast
Yeah, he was mostly just annoyed that the show was trying to pull off being a classic Trek issues show but pulled its punches at every turn.
I did agree that Riker was horribly miscast as the male lead in this role. It doesn't fit with him at all. I hadn't really considered Geordi but Chuck has a good point that Geordi would have been a lot better in this role.

It's a website run by a bloke called Chuck Sonnenburg. These days he mainly concentrates on these YouTube/Blip reviews, but back when the site was Sci-Fi Debris it was a lot more Trek focussed, and produced what is, in my opinion, the best ST/SW crossover fanfics of the lot.

Writes and narrates reviews, mostly of scifi. Click to OP link and give it a watch and you'll get the feel for what he does fairly quickly.
