Breen forces deploy in a tight formation for an assault on the Capitol World of the Children of Tamar. Groups 1-4 of the Tamar contain 45 cruisers. All other groups contain 20 cruisers.
The Breen are deployed as follows,
1 & 2: 110 Destroyers each
3, 4 & 5: 25 Dominion Battleships each
6: 60 Breen Battleships
7 & 8: 100 Breen Battlecruisers (Mk II) each
9: 20 Torpedo Cruisers
10: 2 Dominion Dreadnoughts
Breen and Tamarian forces close at high speed and begin engaging one another from ranges of around 250-300,000 kms.
The Tamarian Center (1-4) opened fire on the 3rd Breen group comprised of Dominion Battleships and did heavy damage with surprisingly powerful beam weapons. They managed to destroy 8 of the ships and damage 16.
The Tamarian wings each open fire on groups 1 and 2 respectively. However neither has much success as group 2 gets away clean. Group 1 suffers 1 ship lost and 2 damaged.
The Breen return fire. A heavy fire is opened on groups 1 by a slew of Dominion Battleships that leaves 6 ships destroyed and 13 damaged.
Even heavier fire is leveled at group 2, but the new Breen Battleships prove to lack accuracy in their first action and manage only 1 kill and 2 damaged opponents.
Group 3 of the Tamar gets away lightly as well losing only 2 units and another 4 damaged.
However group 4 falls under heavy fire from various heavy units of the Breen fleet and suffers 8 ships lost with 15 damaged.
The two groups move to continue closing as the Tamarian commander presses his center as closely as possible to the Breen heavy units.
