The Expendables

Post by Praeothmin »

Saw the movie last Friday, and I must say I LIKED it.
Yes, the characters represent every, and I mean EVERY, stereotype in action movies, the plot was simple, the action over the top and unrealistic, but frankly, I didn't care one iota.
If the trailers sparked you rinterest, go see the movie, once the (action) ball starts rolling, it never stops.
It brings back the unapologetic in-your-face, bigger-then-life heroes and their big guns in a big way.
Sly, the Governator and Mr. Die-Hard's scene, although short, is worth the entry price by itself...

Only letdown I had was there was no original English version of the movie, only the French-dubbed one (and no Deep, just because it was dubbed by the French doesn't mean every body surrendered in the movie :P )...
The truth always depends on which side of the fence you're standing... ;)
