Re: Find the Skinjob Gameplay
The each separated for the night, resolved to sleep on it and come up with a fresh plan for tomorrow. Each officer went off in their own direction, none of them really trusted the other anymore
As they separated, Specialist Lazar positioned himself within a short distance of, and easy line of site of Ensign Mark -- finding an ideal position to watch but not be seen. He had a funny feeling that perhaps Mark was more at risk than the rest of them. So intent was he on watching/guarding Mark that he did not notice someone approaching behind you. He here's a quick woosh of motion behind him and turns.
"You?" He says, "but I thought--" His attacker brings down an unused hull plate on his head, and continues bashing his head until it is crushed in.
"Yes, Me." The attacker responds coldly. The hull plate is disposed of in the woods and the attacker resumes their position to await the morning.
GAME ON!

:Finds Lazar:
Everyone they struck again.....
:waits for everyone to gather and see for themselves:
I still think it was Mark, Lazar is right outside his room, that's not definite it still could have been anyone else over here or a body dump, but I have a strong gut feeling that it is Mark.

Re: Find the Skinjob Gameplay
You know, initialy I felt that Mark was the most likely suspect, but this all just doesn't seem to add up. Surely if Mark was the killer, then he'd have dumped the body more than a couple of feet outside his door. I think it's you, Staplic. What about you, Mark?

Re: Find the Skinjob Gameplay
okay, now I'm confused.....
I suspected Mark, Glic suspects me, and Mark suspects Glic.
I know I'm not the traitor, but then this leads me to believe Mark isn't either. So I guess I have to change my mind and Vote Glic....Lazar did say he suspected Glic right before he was killed.

*looks at Mark*
You're making a big mistake, you know. And likely the last one you'll ever make if you don't come to your senses.

Re: Find the Skinjob Gameplay
Mark, look at it this way. I know I'm not the bad guy here, but you have no way of knowing it. I now also know that you can't be the bad guy, because if you were then you'd have just gone along with my suggestion to kill Staplic, knowing that you'd be killing one more human. Your action has just proven to me that Staplic is the one we were after - like I've been suggesting all along.
Now I know you've nothing but my word as evidence to that I'm on your side here. But likewise, just what reason have you to suspect me? I've been pointing my finger at Staplic for a while now. Once Lazar was killed his body was dumped outside your door. I know you didn't do it, so from your perspective it must have been one of us. Once we found Lazar dead, Staplic immediately used this as evidence that it was you who were the murderer. If, as you suspect, I was the murderer, then why would I argue against Staplic? I could have agreed with him and shot you then and there. So why didn't I? Why did I level the blame at Staplic, with no certainty that you'd agree with me on it? It would make no sense.
But then you shift gears in your accusation. Instead of accusing Staplic with me, you suddenly turn your gun on me. And, without even asking you why your accusation should be believed, Staplic immediately drops his own belief to side with you against me. But if he really believed you were the murderer, as he accused you of being, such a move would be little more than a slightly prolonged suicide, as it would mean being trapped alone with the person he suspected of being the killer. It makes no sense for him to suddenly do a complete 180 in his views, based solely on the unsuported accusation of the man he moments ago believed to be a liar and a murderer.
Such an act could only make sense if he knew that neither of us were a threat to him. It would only make sense if he were the killer.

Re: Find the Skinjob Gameplay
except that I know I'm not the bad guy. The fact that he didn't just jump into bed with you to kill me off says to me that he's not the traitor either, for if he was then he'd have no reason not to just do it. Therefore that leaves you as the only alternative.

Re: Find the Skinjob Gameplay
So then why didn't I agree with you earlier and kill Mark? Again, it makes no sense.
