Many, many years ago.....before the internet when indepentant servers ran the world, the FIRST online multi player game was the original Neverwinter Nights on AOL (used a brand new 2400 baud modem......yes THAT long ago). It was an Advanced Dungeons and Dragons game. I had taken the name from two of my friends characters from our actual pencil, graph paper, and dice game, Halfling thief Tar Joggs and and Dwarven Fighter Ander Ritan.

I created an elf thief/magic user who was a smart ass and a pervert (something never change), and joined a guild of elves called The Grey Company where I was the XO (called 1st LT). Little did I know, the name Tar in elvish means Prince, and it unwittingly opened all kinds of doors for roleplaying (my first real experience). Over the years, the name just stuck.
Ah, the time of myths and legends. ;)

I got mine from an old SW gaming clan I belonged to. And I use it on most other sites too. Sometimes without the underlines and one big blob.

It's cool, man.

I would borrow a phrase from our Brit friends and say "I'm just taking the piss", but that doesn't sound right either.

No - Lazar was the first name of my great-grandfather and my uncle, and is my middle name.

And here I just thought it was the American school system showing its chops by one of their own trying to spell Laser.
