No snow over here yet. It's pretty random whether we get it or not - some years the schools are closed due to snow, some years there's not a single snowflake.
So far the weather has actually be quite nice - no rain, clear skies, etc. Bit cold, but we're used to that by now.

Yes, there's a strong chance that it could have, it's a large city and temperatures in the UK seldom dip lower than zero for any great length of time. As it happened it did last until the morning. Been snowing on and off since last wednesday. Wehave accumulated about 10-30 cm, probably some car crashes and a train system that is totally down.
