Gears of War

Post by Deepcrush »

Last I checked, KT was writing these books. I just wanted to know if anyone here has read any of them?

I've heard more than enough of them on SDN to know I don't want to waste my money on any of them. Apparently, it's typical Traviss stuff.

A planet wide war with the future resting on the actions of only 4 people?

No, that's George Lucas you're thinking of.

KT's typical stuff is when the entire fighting forces of a plant comprise three men and a dog.

Apparently she's adopted the "tribal" Gears (of which we only ever saw one) as the pinnacle of awesomeness.

Wasn't there something in Aspho Fields about the death of six such soldiers being a greater blow to the COG than the loss of an entire convoy of vital supplies to Jacento?

I don't blame you. When they opened up about making the novels I got all sorts of happy. Then they brought out her name and well..... we didn't need that city anyways....
