The seventh little run ran up and slammed into Gorath, again failing to kill him. Gorath snarled at the little Goblin, he wanted to tear him limb from limb, however the Ebon Hand was in some serious trouble, drawing another arrow, Gorath strung the bow and made it shimmer a bright white color before releasing.

The arrow flew true, slamming into the creatures stomach and causing him to step back from the Hand. Then slowly the arrows bright white glow seemed to encase the Foot solder causing his movements to slow considerably.

Melroch roared bestially after seeing the greivous damage done to the Ebon Hand and swung his mace in a mighty roundhouse toward the same goblin which the gargoyle had just shot. The goblin reacted in slow motion as the head of Melroch's mace burst into flame, then impacted with the dirty creatures torso. A smoking crater appeared and the goblin fell.

The Ebon Hand watched the other Foot Soldier fall, and turned ponderously toward one of the remaining Skirmishers. Gears clanked rapidly as he jogged toward the creature, axe ready to swing. The Goblin notched an arrow and loosed, but in it's haste, the arrow went wide, flying into the stands and hitting a wealthy nobleman in the neck. Blood sprayed over fancy silk as the man clutched at his throat, but his gargling cries for help were drowned out by the roaring crowd.

The Goblin took a step back as The Ebon Hand closed in. It struck him with it's bow as he swung laterally with the great axe; it's blow glanced harmlessly off of his shoulder. His blow cleaved it in two diagonally from shoulder to waist.

As the two halves of the Goblin slid to the arena floor, The Hand stopped, assessing the field. The battle was almost won.

He roared, a dry and grating sound, as he twirled the axe and readied for the final assault.

As the Ebon hand cleaved through one of the skirmisher, Gorath turned his attention to the last runt. The small creature tried to run away when it saw the look in Gorath's eyes, however Gorath's arrow was much faster than he was, hitting him at the base of his skull.

Goblin Skirmisher 2 and Goblin Foot Soldier 8 took a few steps backwards. The Foot soldier looked mangled and was bleeding freely but still moving.

"What do we do now?" The Skirmisher asked the foot soldier who was breathing heavily.

"Shoot the injured one!" The Foot Soldier yelled.

The Skirmisher turned to Ebon's Hand who had been the most injured (though not anymore) and who had done the most damage and fired. The arrow sailed

Skirmisher 2 rolled a 23. Hits Ebon Hand for +11 damage. Ebon Hand is down to 1/30

Into the neck of the Ebon Hand. It would have killed any mortal but instead just blasted out thick black ichor onto the arena field. It only seemed to anger the hulking creature.

"It didn't work!" The skirmisher turned around to his friend who was busy running towards the exit trying to escape, but the locked gate would prevent him when he arrived.

The Ebon Hand wrenched the arrow from his throat before staggering forward. He could sense the extent of the damage, but felt no pain, and wasn't compromised physically. The clanking clockwork making up the majority of his internal workings ratcheted angrily as he stormed up to the gate.

"Wait! Wait!" The pitiful creature cried, holding its bow up as a makeshift shield.

The Ebon Hand didn't wait. He grasped the axe close to its blade, and further down on the handle, then drove it forward through the Goblin's neck like a shovel. The blade clanged against the iron gate as the creature's body slid away, leaving the head sitting atop the blade of the axe. The Hand's expressionless face turned to the final Goblin, who staggered a few steps backward, raising its sword with its remaining arm.

Gorath skillfully snuck up behind the remaining foot solder, it's attention was devoted to the Ebon Hand who had just cleaved off the skirmisher's head. He didn't know what hit him as Gorath drew his dagger and stabbed straight through the Goblin's heart. Killing him.

The battle was over, Gorath bent down and picked up the Claymore from the fallen foot soldier strapping it to his belt along with his dagger. He also walked around collecting the unused arrows from the three goblin skirmisher's. He also picked up the War axes from the runts.

"Anyone want these?" Gorath asked indicating the rusty war axes.

Melroch growled unintelligibly, partly in victory, partly in frustration that there weren't more foes to slay. He produced a cigar from a case in his pouch and lit it with the still-aflame head of his mace. Puffing a thin cloud of white smoke, he looked down at the goblin foot soldier he'd killed. Melroch regarded the dead goblin for a moment, allowed the flame on his mace to go out, and dropped it in favor of the goblin's claymore. Considering again for a moment while he smoked in silence, Melroch reached down again and yanked one of the goblin's peg teeth from its jaw. Stowing the tooth carefully in his pouch, he turned to his comrades and bellowed, "Come now! Take what you want, and strip the rest for sale! I've a mind that some further essentials might be needed in the future."

"agree'd" Gorath said, throwing the War axes into a pile along with the Iron Bow's, and all of the Goblin's armor. "Anyone want anyting in there, or should we carry it out to market?"

Arundel, still clutching her no longer bleeding chest, Wondered about the battlefield. Nothing would be appropriate that she could see. As comical as it would be, she decided trying to wear goblin armour wasn't all that sensible an idea. Instead she took up the PeeShooter(TM) Wand that the mage had left upon the ground. It was...simplistic, knarled wood and basic magic channeling abilities. But it would help. She looked over the pile that the Gargoyle had created, and walked over softly. He looked at her with curiosity. She lifted the hood from her head and let the hair drop about her face. kneeling, she picked up one of the fine bows, and then grasped a clutch of arrows, grabbing 14 of the set. She held them in her hand, and strung the bow over her shoulder.

"There is nothing more I need, unless you wish me to try wearing the armour. Somehow, I dont think it will fit quite right," She said softly, smiling at Gorath. she turned, and consumed a portion of the health potion she had upon her. Quickly the wound sealed, and her stomach stopped aching in pain.

Once the team had looted the bodies they wanted to the Gargoyle organizer stopped them, "Did you guys want to enter for another team bout? The Brawlers of Painbringer are up next. 150 gold is the cash prize or are you guys going to call it a day?"
