clearing new posts

This just started today... when I come onto the site I see the yellow files showing that there are new posts. I click the topic main topic to go to that page and when that comes up the "new post" files are gone. I go back to the main page and ALL the new post files are gone. Basically, the site is resetting the new posts on my first clisck anywhere. Did something change? Is anyone else having this issue today?

when you come to the site each time just click the "View Posts Since Last Visit" link in the top right corner on the main forum page

Yeah, that's a new one for me. Sometines I get an e-mail notification, click the link, and go to the forum site but all I can see is a "no posts in this topic" message. Of course, there are posts if I go in "by hand."
