Earth 2150
Anyone else played this game? It was published in 2000, one of the first 3D games of its type. It's a bit outdated now, But I find it very enjoyable. its set in the far future (2150, no less ). The US has become the United Civilised States UCS that use droid armies against the other two. The asian forces came under rule of Mongol khans, and created the Eurasian Dynesty (ED). Finally, a colony of pieceful humans on the moon, aware of an impending doom to the earth, enter teh conflict to try and reconcile the others for the good of humanity; this is the Lunar Corperation (LC).
A UCS base being blown to bits
LC forces clashing with ED forces (the Red tribeam laser is the ED)
An ED base, well established by the look of it.
an LC base. LC use solar powered generators and batteries for night time generation.

Looks pretty cool.

How many Minbari does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.

Re: Earth 2150
I imagine its probably up somewhere. Even my old netbook would run it without glitching, and my phone worked faster than it did
Re: Earth 2150
True, but just like with movies / tv shows. If I can get it legally I feel like I'm supporting their company. Reason I will always go to hulu to find things before i hit up Megavideo or surfthechannel.Nickswitz wrote:It's always freeware if you have a bittorrent. Just sayin...

That's great when it comes to tv shows or movies, but out-of-print games are fair game for pirated copies, IMO. The company that made the game is no longer producing copies, so they already aren't making any money from sales of used copies; why not distribute pirated copies? Then everyone gets the chance to play an older title without paying $100 for a used copy on eBay or Amazon.Monroe wrote:True, but just like with movies / tv shows. Yeah, that's why I don't feel bad that I just got the Spider man 3 game from a torrent because I couldn't find it elsewhere.
